Week: -1.2 units profit (-6.8% PoT)

Overall: 698.2 units profit (10.2% PoT)

No joy in the first six days of the week, but we fought back with a couple of nice winners on Sunday in the form of the very promising Valario, and Classic Jack at double figure odds along with a quinella & trifecta at Albany, to get us back on track for the week. We remain up nearly five units for the month, and up nearly 120 units since May.

NSW Tips & Ratings

Week: -1.8 units profit (-28.6% PoT)

Overall: 123.5 units profit (17.7% PoT)

So close this week! It started well, with our single bet at Hawkesbury on Wednesday (Above and Beyond) winning well for us. In a slightly quiet week, we had five more bets… we two of them finishing second and one third! That’s the way variance goes unfortunately… Mark is never far off, so our next winners will be just around the corner.

John's Analytics

Week: 0.6 units profit (6.2% PoT)

Overall: 257.8 units profit (15.9% PoT)

John ground out a small profit this week, after only backing eleven horse (a quiet week for him!). We got two winners – Salty Kisses (Kyneton, Friday) and Bemboka (Bathurst, Saturday), which again highlights the efficiency of John’s staking… we don’t need much to go our way to make money.

BlackBook Bets

Week: 22.6 units profit (119.9% PoT)

Overall: 287.6 units profit (7.3% PoT)

Boom! Lachlan was due a good bit of variance… we knew it was coming… and it did this week. Without doubt the highlight was Juaphikoa (check the spelling!) at Kembla Grange on Saturday… which won for us after Lachlan found it at $51 & $11! But that wasn’t all… we also scored with Bianconi Magic (Pakenham, Thursday) at $12.80 and $2.90, Whooshka at $26 & $7, and Kaapander at $4.60 the place, among others. It just shows that in this game, the winners often come all at once – it’s amazing how much you can cash in a good run.

Dean’s Tips

Week: 6.4 units profit (17.2% PoT)

Overall: 648.9 units profit (8.0% PoT)

Nice winner with Most Important on Saturday at 20/1, an incredible price given the class edge he had on that field. We were stiff with Penalty Point and Tisani Tromos, both second beaten a nose at $13 and $5. Yalanji won on Sunday, but Captivated Point who was backed in from $8.50 to $3.50 was a close second. Another 6 units profit for the week which could have doubled with a bit of luck, but regardless it takes us to 33 units profit since resuming in September.

Golf

Week: -2.2 units profit (-100.0% PoT)

Overall: 21.7 units profit (6.9% PoT)

We just keep knocking on the door with our big-priced golf bets. This week we had Ryan Blaum at $500 in the RMS Open, where he finished 4th, plus a few other good performances. We will break through soon.

Cricket

Overall: 58.9 units profit (7.2% PoT)

No completed bets for cricket this week.
