Great to land our first whale of the Spring with $71 winner In Good Health. As usual, Betfair had the best prices with the horse trading as much as $95 pre race. A crying shame we just missed both quaddies. At Caulfield, Flying Award absolutely flew home for 2nd beaten a nose in the first leg, and then we had the $71, $3 and $14 winners of the last 3 legs, with the Quaddie paying a whopping $19,000. At Rosehill we had the $21, $10 and $2 winners of the first 3 legs but missed the last leg. Up around +25u the past month. Is great that Spring is finally here. Traditionally this time is very lucrative for us and looking forward to landing a few more whales, and hopefully another mammoth quaddie or two as well. Was great to see Flying Award perform so well first up. We have backed him at great Futures odds in the Caulfield Guineas and Cox Plate, and that was a great start to his campaign. Thought Overlord who we backed in Futures for the Golden Rose and Caulfield Guineas was also good first up, after being slow away and settling last, he ran home well for 3rd with the winner leading all the way.

One betting race on Tuesday night where saver bet Showtime Jack got the job done at $7.50. Our one bet Forners Flame ran 2nd on Thursday night (9.5u worth). We ended the week in style Saturday night with Eagle Rock winning with ease at Wentworth Park.

It was a great start to the week on Wednesday at Kensington with Suave landing the cash at $4.80! Prime Candidate scoring at $4.60 was the highlight on Saturday whilst Golly I’m Lucky $3.80 & Peltzer $3 both ran 2nd (7u worth).

She's Crowned $3.40 & Anders $3 the highlights on a Saturday where we had a massive 39.6u worth of 2nds. Big day on Sunday driven by Melba Storm $7 & Explosive Quality $3.50. Excelman bolted in at $3.35 before being disqualified with the jockey weighing in light.
