Overall: 57.4 units profit (12.4% POT)

Trial Spy

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/trial-spy/

Week: -0.9 units profit (-3.8% POT)

Overall: 724.8 units profit (9.8% POT)

It was a profitable start to the week on Wednesday with Yao Dash winning at $2.35. Small profit on Thursday but it wasn’t far off being a big result with our one strong each way play Broken Arrows going down by a nose at $7.50. Small loss on a busy Saturday, winners were True Detective $2.40, Calipari $2.25 & Mizzy $4.20. Flit $8.50, Massimo $2.40 & Hightail $3 all ran 2nd. Minor loss on Sunday to close out the week, with Galaxial winning at $4.80, whilst Roseicapilla ran 2nd at $4.35. In total 22.8u worth of 2nds for the week.

Despite the loss we sit at 159u profit over the past 14 months.

Here's what Dean had to say:

Stiff last week. We made a very minor 0.9u loss, but had Broken Arrows backed in from $8.50 into $3.30, sat 4 wide no cover throughout and ran 2nd beaten a nose for a 7.5 unit collect. To add to that, on the weekend we had 2nds to Flit, Massimo, Hightail & Roseicapilla. A total of nearly 23 units worth of 2nds, some very close.

Dean’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/deans-tips/

Week: -3.7 units profit (-21.3% POT)

Overall: 683.5 units profit (7.6% POT)

No result on Wednesday where EW play Wicked Heights ran a narrow 4th at $10. Small profit on Thursday with Neruda getting the job done for us at Hawkesbury paying $5.25. Small loss Saturday, no winners but a couple of place results (Bullet Fly $12 & Invincible Gem $14), with Bulley Fly narrowly beaten in a 3 horse photo. Minor profit to end the week on Sunday driven by Ship Creek at $10.10. Both Iowna $33.20 & Encircle $5.40 ran 2nd (9.3u worth).

53 units profit at 23.5% POT over the past 13 weeks.

Here's what Dean had to say:

Had a couple of good winners this week, with Ship Creek at $10 and Neruda at $5. Yesterday we also had Iowna 2nd at $33, and Encircle 2nd at $5, whilst on Saturday Bullet Fly was narrowly beaten in a 3 horse photo at $12. A 3.7 unit loss for the week, and we are breakeven for the month. We are in the final week of the winter period (June to August), where I'm pleased we have so far earned 45.7 units profit at 22% POT during the toughest period of the year. Spring is just around the corner with the best horses starting to appear. Looking forward to the coming months and making even bigger profits.

Week: -4.6 units profit (-100.0% POT)

Overall: 282.8 units profit (6.6% POT)

NSW Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nsw-tips-and-ratings/

Week: -6.1 units profit (-39.6% POT)

Overall: 104.6 units profit (9.6% POT)

Frustrating start to the week on Wednesday having two bets which resulted in two 2nds, Don’t Leave Me Out $2.90 & Dolly’s Due $11.35 who walked out of the gates. A tough run of 2nds continued at Hawkesbury on Thursday as we bet into two races and had two narrow 2nds, Dambulla $4.30 & Broken Arrows $6.55. Minor loss to close out the week on Saturday, winners were Heart Of The Oak $2.30 & Mizzy $4.30.

In total 16.7 units worth of 2nds for the week, and over 30u worth of 2nds for the month.

Here's what Mark had to say:

Week In Review

The run of near misses continued this week and loss of over 5 units was booked.  Carrying over from last week, at one stage we recorded six seconds and two thirds from eight betting races.

Canterbury (Wednesday)

Don't Leave Me Out - Was solid in the market and as expected got a good run on the pace, but was narrowly beaten by Kawaikini who improved with blinkers on.

Dolly's Due - A small spec bet at big odds, she lost her chance after blowing the start, but ran on well for yet another second.  Hard to say she would have beaten the winner, Rock, who I priced a bit conservatively in hindsight.  I was concerned that Canterbury may not suit him, but he did have a significant class edge on this field.

Hawkesbury (Thursday)

Dambulla - Was quite keen on his chances with a good jockey change.  I still think he needs a more aggressive ride that the one he was given here, and he was narrowly beaten by the favourite, costing us a decent collect.  The horse is certainly capable of winning in this class but he is one paced and one dimensional.

Society - Held its spot in the market after an unlucky run the start before, but was disappointing here.

Bucephalus - Really thought he'd be wound up fresh after being gelded and wearing blinkers for the first time, but he was easy in the market and didn't fire.

Broken Arrows - A big shortener from $8.50 in the morning to an SP of $3.30.  Sat wide which some chance of happening from the gate, but still looked the winner before being nutted on the line.

Randwick (Saturday)

Galaxy Force - Got a perfect run as forecast, but was only fair in the straight and plugged away for third.

Bellarina Magic - Didn't take part in the early speed battle and struggled to get into the race.

Baller - Can't say it cost him the race or anything, but was ridden far too quietly in my opinion - he's a strong one pacer who needs to get rolling.  That said, he may have found the class beyond him at this stage.

Avilius - Was happy to be on the best horse in the race at the price he was, although he got in very short by jump time.  1400m turned out to be just a shade short for him.

Mizzy - Got a good run as expected and won comfortably.  Was a significant shortener late in betting too.

Roheryn - Missed the start and ended up further back than expected, then wasn't put in the race until too late and was set far too big a task.

Necastle (Saturday)

Heart Of The Oak - A narrow winner at short odds.  Wasn't overly impressive visually but the slow pace didn't suit and I think they may have been better off leading on her.

Greyhound Genius

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/greyhound-genius/

Week: -7.3 units profit (-16.6% POT)

Overall: 1002.8 units profit (13.6% POT)

Stiff on Wednesday night to kick off the week with Vansittart running 2nd at $16. Small loss on Thursday, we landed a $2.64 double at Maitland but unloaded on Arctic Kingdom at $1.70 who was backed into $1.28 but had no luck. Big result Saturday night, winners were Tennessee Tiger $3.50 & Shez Got Soul $2.60.

Despite the loss we sit at a remarkable 382 units profit in just over the past 11 months.
