NSW Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nsw-tips-and-ratings/

Week: 6.5 units profit (59.6% POT)

Overall: 128.6 units profit (13.1% POT)

We finished up even at Warwick Farm on Wednesday to kick off the week with Destiny’s Own saluting at $7.80. Good day on Saturday. Winners were So You Win at $4.70, Star Of The Seas at $3.70 and Hostwin Supreme at $11.10. Call Me Royal ran a narrow 2nd to Hostwin Supreme at $4.70 which would have been a better result for us and Girl Tuesday went down by a nose at $9.20.

Here’s what Mark had to say:

Only two betting days last week but it turned out to be profitable - there's certainly no point in forcing it if the opportunities aren't there. Destiny's Own saved the day at nice odds on Wednesday, then three winners on Saturday returned a profit of 6.5 units for the week.  It could actually have been better - Call Me Royal was a better result than the saver Hostwin Supreme, and Girl Tuesday was narrowly beaten at good odds.  Nice to put two solid weeks together, nonetheless.

Greyhound Genius

Small loss on Saturday with our one each way play Golden Halo unable to fill a place for us.

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/johns-analytics/

Winning day on Wednesday driven by a good result off Super Swoop at $8.50. Dorothy Of Oz at $9.50, Love Ya Blue at $4.60 and Fulton Street at $5 all ran 2nd. Nice day Thursday, winners were Crimson Halo at $3.20, Santelmo Fuego at $3.20 and Rocket Empire at $3.80. Minor loss Friday, So You Wish ran 2nd at $10. A loss on Saturday, winners were Desert Lord at $2.80 and Dinisty at $3.90. Losing day Sunday, Snippety Cat ran 2nd at $9. In total 23.9 units worth of 2nds for the week. Despite the losing week Model 5 has delivered 36.3 units profit in under 13 weeks.

Golf

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/golf/

Week: -5.4 units profit (-100.0% POT)

Overall: 37.0 units profit (9.9% POT)

Losing weekend for members at the PGA Championship. We were right around the mark having three top 10 finishes. Patrick Cantlay T3 @ $50, Matt Wallace T3 @ $230 & Gary Woodland T8 @ $70, but Brooks Koepka was too good.

Trial Spy

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/trial-spy/

Week: -6.3 units profit (-28.3% POT)

Overall: 708.3 units profit (9.7% POT)

A loss on Wednesday, one collect with Taraayef saluting at Sandown paying $3.10. No result on Thursday, we had a strong play on Serenity Bay at $1.90 who ran 2nd. We had one bet on Friday night which resulted in a 2nd (She’s A Karaka $6.50). No luck on Saturday. Winners were Aim For Perfection at $1.40 and Miss Ellmya at $5.10. Absolute Flirt at $2.50, Reelem In Ruby at $2.40, Espinola at $6 and Behemoth at $20 all ran narrow 2nds. Good result on Sunday with our one each way play Denman Unlimited running 2nd at $9.50. In total 33 units worth of 2nds for the week. Despite the losing week we sit at a massive 135 units profit in just over the past 12 months.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Astonishing finish to the week. From our last 9 bets we had 2 winners & 7 second places. Every runner ran very well with a number unlucky not to win, but instead of a big winning week we incurred a loss. The 2nd placings totalled 33 units in just 4 days, Runner like Behemoths at 20/1 who was an unlucky close 2nd in the G1 Goodwood, Denman Unlimited at $9.50, Reelem In Ruby & Absolute Flirt all went down in photos. Espinola, She's A Karaka & Serenity Bay were the other close 2nds. Miss Ellmya & Aim For Perfection were both comfortable winners. Not much more to say, all selections ran well and were on the money but we didn't get the photos go our way. Up over 130 units for the past 12 month period so have to take the good fortune with the bad luck at times. Catch you during the week.

Dean’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/deans-tips/

Week: -13.8 units profit (-45.5% POT)

Overall: 631.9 units profit (7.2% POT)

No result on Wednesday before a profitable Thursday at Northam with our one bet Lido Beach winning at $1.85. A loss on Saturday, one winner was Kenedna at $11.40. Violate at $34 ran 2nd which would have been a 17u collect. Losing day Sunday. Stratumiss won at $12. Lavrovsky at $11, Containment at $4.40 and Speedonova at $3.30 all ran 2nd. In total nearly 30 units worth of 2nds for the week.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Not much joy on paper last week but we were close to some big results. Lido Beach was a comfortable winner on Thursday from our only bet. Kenedna won the Doomben Cup at $11 for us, but Violate was an unlucky 2nd held up for a fair way at $34 in what would have been a big result. Welsh Legend was 3rd at $15 in the other Doomben betting race. Sunday started well with Stratumiss winning at $12. Lavrosky was a big run 2nd at $11 and would have won if not for sitting 3 wide no cover throughout. Containment & Speedonova both ran 2nd. Unfortunately we had no luck at Kalgoorlie with a number of bets missing the start, being posted wide without cover or being held up. We were actually stiff not to get a huge quaddie. We had the first winner at double figure odds, then ran 2nd in the next leg beaten by a horse coming off a 1 year break, We had the double figure odds winner in the 3rd leg and then in the last leg had the 2nd horse at 20/1. 2 winners and 2 2nds all at big odds and had we saluted we would have scooped the pool with a $25,000 quaddie or 125u. Close but no cigar on this occasion. With our two 2nds we were beaten by horses who simply led all the way with a bit of a bias there unfortunately. Longer term members will recall we struck a similar sized huge Kalgoorlie quaddie previously. Hopefully we can nab another big one shortly. Catch you during the week.
