Week: 24.0 units profit (247.4% POT)

Overall: 302.8 units profit (12.1% POT)

It was a big start to the week on Monday with our one EW play Quick Spin saluting at $14. Small loss Wednesday before a nice result Thursday with Ripplebrook winning at $6 & EW play Legionnaire running 2nd at $7.50. Good day Friday with our one bet Swanky Cat being backed off the map and bolting in at $4.40. Great result on Saturday with 1 bet for 1 winner, Invincible Gangsta at $9.20. Profitable day on Sunday to close out the week, no winners but a couple of nice place results (Sir Chatalot $21 & Sarzana $17).

62.5 units profit at 40.1% POT over the past 9 weeks.

Blackbook Bets

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/blackbook-bets/

Week: 15.3 units profit (159.4% POT)

Overall: 287.4 units profit (6.7% POT)

It was a very profitable but slightly frustrating start to the week on Monday with EW play Phyla Vell going down by a nose at $61. Great result on Tuesday with our one bet Magnus Equus saluting at $15. Another big day on Wednesday with Diamond Oasis $16 & Imperial Raider $4 both getting the job done for us. Minor loss Thursday & Saturday with Hasta La War ran 2nd at $5.50.

This service has delivered 72 units profit at 57.3% POT over the past 16 weeks.

NRL Tips

Week: 1.3 units profit (28.9% POT)

Overall: -37.3 units profit (-16.3% POT)

A loss Thursday night before a good result Friday with the Eels & Broncos both covering the line for us. Minor loss Saturday before a win on Sunday with the Roosters proving much too strong for the Warriors.

Greyhound Genius

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/greyhound-genius/

Week: 1.2 units profit (3.8% POT)

Overall: 1010.1 units profit (13.8% POT)

Great start to the week on Wednesday night with Princess Riot saluting at $1.90. A loss Thursday before a minor loss Saturday night, one winner was Cawborne Marty at $1.80.

We sit at a remarkable 389 units profit in just over the past 11 months.

Dean’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/deans-tips/

Week: 0.5 units profit (2.5% POT)

Overall: 687.2 units profit (7.7% POT)

It was a profitable start to the week on Tuesday driven by Aasira at $8.70. Minor loss Thursday before a small profit on Friday. Winners were Cash For Diamonds $6 & Grey Skies $6.55, Subtle Grey ran a narrow 2nd at $9. Frustrating day on Saturday with Sylpheed $18.50, Rebel King $11 & Boys Getaround Him $12 all running 2nd. Nice day on Sunday with Dean finding yet another big priced winner, this time Playing Zeus at a massive $41.

57 units profit at 28% POT over the past 12 weeks.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Remarkably stiff this week. We made a small profit, but it should have been much larger.

Nice to nab Playing Zeus at 40/1 yesterday, and we had a few other nice winners through the week in Aasira $8.70, Grey Skies $6.50 & Cash For Diamonds $6.

Could have been a big week but for going down in some close ones. On Friday, Subtle Grey was backed in from $9 to $3 and ran 2nd beaten a nose, whilst Eksdale Girl was $26 into $7 and was only beaten a long neck.

On Saturday we had three big 2nds with Sylpheed $18, Boys Getaround Him at $12 and Rebel King at $11 all just finding one better.

In total the above was nearly 35 units, making the difference between a small and large profit for the week.

Still trucking along nicely with 57 units profit at 28% POT the past 12 weeks.

WA Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/wa-tips-and-ratings-cameron-obrien/

Week: 0.1 units profit (0.9% POT)

Overall: 67.4 units profit (13.1% POT)

No result at Belmont on Wednesday with Melteme $3.70 & Round The Point $12.45 both running 2nd. Small loss Thursday at Northam, Wanna Be Good ran 2nd at $5. It was a strong day on Saturday with wins to both Great Again $2.20 & Why Choose Her $7.50.

AFL Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/afl-tips/

Week: -0.9 units profit (-9.5% POT)

Overall: 5.5 units profit (2.8% POT)

Small loss Friday night and it was also a small loss Saturday with the highlight being Carlton defeating St Kilda. Minor profit on Sunday with Richmond defeating West Coast.

NSW Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nsw-tips-and-ratings/

Week: -2.4 units profit (-30.4% POT)

Overall: 110.6 units profit (10.3% POT)

It was a good start to the week on Thursday at Newcastle with Elusive Nature getting the job done for us at $3.45. Very frustrating day on Saturday, God Of Thunder went down narrowly at $4.30 & Thy Kingdom Come looked all over the winner at $3.55 before being grabbed by a $61 chance in the last few strides.

Here’s what Mark had to say:

Only two meetings covered this week due to my absence early last week.  Down around 2 units for the week after a winning Thursday but no result on Saturday.  Despite the disappointing result I thought Saturday's set of selections was pretty solid and with a bit of luck could have produced a nice winning day and week.

Newcastle (Thursday)

Elusive Dancer - Solid in the market, sat back and rounded them nicely for a good win.  Market was also very strong on the favourite Renalot, pleasing to pull the right rein here,

Parry Sound - A very big shortener from around $7 in the morning to start $3.50.  The race panned out as expected, he rolled forward to get a good spot on the speed but couldn't go on in the straight.

Kensington (Saturday)

Bubbles Ball - Another to be very well backed, $9 into $5.  Had a good run as the map suggested she would but may not have seen out the 1400m.  The winner, Connemara, was also on trial at the 1400m but she flew for Nash Rawiller and won easily.  Nash has returned in great form and you can expect more horses in the coming weeks and months to be going to new peak performances for him.

God Of Thunder - Slightly easy in the market which was to be expected due to the barrier (and hence the BOB recommendation).  Brenton Avdulla had a plan to overcome the gate and it went within an inch of coming off - if he'd been able to get off the fence on straightening I think he would have won.

Miss Invincible - To add insult to injury, our saver in the same race was very well backed and loomed up to be in the finish but couldn't quite finish it off.  A very frustrating race all round.

So You Win - Solid late in betting and ran well, but was never really going to get to the winner Wolfe.  In hindsight, I've slightly underestimated the winner - I don't like backing one paced horses who drop sharply in weight, but Wolfe has a bit of quality and doesn't really fit that bill - should have marked him shorter.

Thy Kingdom Come - Race panned out almost perfectly, although the horse being vetted pre-race wasn't ideal.  He got the expected good run on the speed, the two runners high-up in the early betting who I was opposing (Pembroke Castle and Venezuela) did little, and he still managed to get run down late by a 60/1 chance pulling out by far the best run of its life.  Very hard to take, this one.

Golf

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/golf/

Week: -2.8 units profit (-100.0% POT)

Overall: 57.6 units profit (12.6% POT)

No result across the weekend for members, the closest we came to a result was Kevin Tway finishing T11 in the BMW Championship at $500.

Trial Spy

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/trial-spy/

Week: -3.2 units profit (-22.2% POT)

Overall: 725.7 units profit (9.8% POT)

Very frustrating but profitable start to the week on Monday with EW play Phyla Vell going down by a nose at $51. Minor profit Tuesday with our saver bet Appian Way winning at $2.90. Small loss Wednesday with our one bet Hulk running 2nd at $2.35. No luck on Saturday, winners were Pandemic $2.50 (Maddi Rocks 2nd $5.70 a better result) & Sherpa Lass $7 (Alien From Mars 2nd $5.50 a better result). Penang $2.90 & Absolute Flirt $10 also both ran 2nd. No result Sunday, Sending Love ran 2nd at $3.

Despite the loss we sit at 160u profit over the past 14 months.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Interesting week where we somehow lost 3u, but the 2nd placings cost us over 30 units in profit.

We had Phyla Vell at 50/1 on Monday get run down in the last stride beaten a nose for a 10u collect.

On Tuesday Appian Way won for us, but in the same race Invincible Kiss at 125/1 was desperately unlucky, arguably should have run a place at $24 the place for a 12u collect but got blocked in the straight when charging home.

On Wednesday our one bet Hulk ran 2nd beaten a head.

On Saturday we had a string of 2nds. Penang was stiff off a terrible ride, ridden to lead at suicidal speed and running 2nd (they broke the track record which is incredible for a maiden race). Maddi Rocks ran 2nd to our saver Pandemic which would have been a 4.5u better result, Sherpa Lass won for us but Alien From Mars ran 2nd which would have been a 2u better result, Absolute Flirt was a huge run for 2nd at 10/1 after having no lucky racing wide and under pressure throughout, and then Sending Love to cap it off ran 2nd beaten a nose yesterday.

Could have been a huge week with any luck, but the main things is the horses are all running well, and we'll continue to get our chance through the Spring to build on the 160u profit we have made over the past 14 months.

Luke Murrell’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/luke-murrells-tips/

Week: -14.8 units profit (-13.2% POT)

Overall: 601.4 units profit (6.3% POT)

A loss to kick off the week on Monday, one winner was Missed Out at $5.25. Minor loss Tuesday, we had a nice result with Standout saluting at $10.10, EW play Eleazar ran 4th at $24. Losing day Wednesday, Makdanife ran 2nd at $5.50. Good day on Thursday, winners were Arrogante $1.75, Somethinaboutharry $1.90, Shepard $2, Zoushack $3.60 & Hit The Rim $3.50. We had a strong bet on Urbino who ran 2nd at $1.50. No result Friday before a big day on Saturday. Winners were Age Of Chivalry $2.40, Aten $4, All Too Royal $11.50 & Bivouac $2.65. It wasn’t far off a huge day with 23.5u worth of 2nds. Losing day Sunday, winners were Lightning Ally $3.80 & Luddenham Lass $7.25.

In total 60.8 units worth of 2nds for the week which takes us to over 700 units worth of 2nd placings over the past 5 months.

Despite the loss we sit at 95 units profit at 13.5% POT over the past 9 weeks.
