Dean’s Tips

Week: 25.7 units profit (114.2% POT)

Overall: 649.6 units profit (7.7% POT)

A huge week for members. We started off strong on Wednesday with Chorus winning at $4.80 and Pria Eclipse at $5.50. And the winners continued to come with Freedom By Choice at $3.80, Badajoz at $9.50, Fiesta at $4.40 and Blazing Ash at $7!

Heres what Dean had to say:

In last week's Weekly Wrap, I stated the following:

"Not having much luck with the close calls. 4.1u (4.1% of bank) loss for January, however we had a A Divine Wind at 50/1 and Well Sprung at over 100/1 on Betfair both run 2nd beaten a nose. This weekend was a similar story with Brumby Jack 2nd at $21 on Saturday, then Exalted Lighning a narrow 2nd at $18 yesterday, along with big place bet on Janis 4th beaten a nose for a place at $31/$7. When we get a bit of luck it should turn in a big way."

That fortunately turned out to be rather prophetic, as we didn't have a single losing day last week, delivering 25.6u profit (25.6% bank growth) at 114% POT

Winners included Badajoz, Blazing Ash, Pria Eclipse, Chorus, Fiesta and Freedom By Choice at odds of between $9.50 and $3.80.

We were stiff with Cool Chap at $7 looking the winner but being run down into 2nd beaten on the line by Yogi. Land Of Plenty was a huge run for 2nd after being caught wide with no cover at $7 also.

Bounty Hunter was a close 2nd at $29, Red Publisher ran a close 3rd at $31 and Galocerdo a close 3rd at $13.

Despite a big week, it could have been substantially bigger had a couple more cards fallen our way.

Regardless however it was obviously a pleasing week. We did very well through the Spring Carnival, and now that the Autumn Carnival is upon us, I expect us to keep kicking goals in the coming weeks and months.

Luke Murrell’s Tips

Week: 22.9 units profit (61.1% POT)

Overall: 587.1 units profit (7.8% POT)

A great run continues for members with another huge week. It was a slow start to the week with multiple placings but then we hit the mark over the weekend with great results on Our Gravano at $6.40, Samadoubt at $6.60, Avilius at $2.85 and Kristensen at $8! A massive 82 units profit at 42.9% POT in the past 5 weeks!

Greyhound Genius

Week: 6.8 units profit (22.7% POT)

Overall: 855.0 units profit (13.0% POT)

Good week for members across just the six bets. Three winners were Vouchers at $1.85, Emgrand Park at $4.20 and Galaxy Banner at $2.35. Hopefully the great start for this service continues! 36.4 units profit at 14% POT in the past 7 weeks!

Blackbook Bets

Week: -3.6 units profit (-69.2% POT)

Overall: 246.9 units profit (6.1% POT)

A loss on what was a quiet week for members with just five each way plays. The week started with a profitable result with Homework filling a place for us on Tuesday at $4.60 and that was our one collect for the week. We move forward!

John’s Analytics

Week: -1.6 units profit (-11.4% POT)

Overall: 243.9 units profit (13.2% POT)

Small losing week for members. Two winners which both came on Friday with Westham at $4.40 and Beraht at $9.50. We were right around the mark all week locking in great prices, with a bit more luck it’s a big week, we move forward!

NSW Tips & Ratings

Week: -0.8 units profit (-0.1% POT)

Overall: 119.0 units profit (14.3% POT)

Small loss this week for members. It was a frustrating start on Wednesday with Bring The Magic and See The Master both looking the winner at the 200m mark without being able to get the job done. We just bet into the one race on Friday night and got the cash with Spiritual Pursuit leading all the way at $6.50. One collect on Saturday with Champagne Cuddles saluting at $2.60.

Heres what Mark had to say:

Treaded water this week after good results the previous week - lost 0.8 units for the week.  Both bets on Wednesday looked the winner at the 200m but couldn't quite finish off, carrying on from the frustrating finish to the week before.  We had a good result from one betting race on a tricky Friday night card at Canterbury with Spiritual Pursuit leading all the way at a nice price.  I was pretty confident of a decent result on Saturday - I thought I had some selections that would be suited by the track pattern (getting away from the fence and building momentum into the bend was critical) but for one reason or another it didn't really pan out for any of them.  I'd even argue that our sole winner Champagne Cuddles won despite a "cute" ride rather than because of it, but at least it was in the right spot all the way.

So, no harm done this week and the majority of selections continue to run well.

Trial Spy

Week: -8.7 units profit (-41.4% POT)

Overall: 712.2 units profit (10.1% POT)

Losing week for members. Two winners with Secondofmay at $2.80 and Sing Oh Danny Boy at $2.90 to go with multiple seconds which was the difference between a winning and losing week (approximately 9 units worth of 2nds).

Regardless of this rare blip, it has been a great run with 8 straight winning months and 140 units profit in that time!

Heres what Dean had to say:

Only a couple of winners last week (Sing Oh Danny Boy & Secondofmay), and a string of close 2nds including Accession, Cosmic Force, Superbowl Sunday & Sparkling Facet.

Athiri was a huge run for a close 3rd in the Diamond Predule after racing wide with no cover. Our futures bet looks a great chance in the Blue Diamond.

Our other Blue Diamond futures bet Catch Me was too bad to be true, and we will wait to see what the vets find. If the Snowdens back her up in the Blue Diamond it would suggest all is well, and she is still the best 2yo filly going around, so fingers crossed all is ok.

We are down 3.2 units so far for the month, but it's early days and given we have had 8 winning months in a row, I'm backing us to bounce back shortly.

WA Tips & Ratings

Week: -2.3 units profit (-24.2% POT)

Overall: 55.2 units profit (24.3% POT)

Losing week for members. We kicked off with two small winning days with Freedom By Choice getting the job done at $3.30 on Thursday and Carocapo leading all the way on Saturday at $2.80. No result Sunday, we were on He’s A Parker in the Albany Cup who ran 2nd at $4.50.

Cricket

Week: -2.0 units profit (-100% POT)

Overall: 53.5 units profit (5.8% POT)

Small loss on what was a quiet week in cricket. We just had two bets in the IT20 between New Zealand and India where New Zealand proved too strong.
